Collection: San Cristóbal de la Habana

The original name of the Havana San Cristóbal brand was the name of the city of Havana in 1519. The brand was launched in 1999 to pay tribute to the city's long history on the occasion of the new millennium.

For the first time, the brand launches on the market four vitolas, whose names correspond to the fortresses located in the city, built by the Spaniards between the 16th and 18th centuries to protect the city from possible invasions: El Morro, La Fuerza , La Punta and El Príncipe.

The corresponding factory sizes of El Morro and La Fuerza exist only in this brand.

In 2004, the brand's ranking was expanded to include Mercaderes, Oficios and Murallas, the names of famous streets in the historical center of Havana.

All vitolas are "handmade in Tripa Larga" using tripe leaves and capote from the Vuelta Abajo region. They are characterized by a mild to medium flavor. All of the brand's Havana cigars are made from "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" - entirely handmade with Long Filler, with wrappers and filler leaves sourced from the Vuelta Abajo region. They feature a blend of light to medium flavors.

Every year, Habanos, USA offers innovative and exclusive products to its specialized retail channels, in particular to its international network of La Casa del Habano franchise stores and retail establishments certified by Habanos experts.

The San Cristobal brand is one of the brands that designs products exclusively for the network of specialized stores under the La Casa de Habano franchise.

In 2019, the brand celebrated its 20th anniversary within the framework of the Havana 500 and launched the San Cristóbal de La Habana 20 Aniversario (52 ring gauge x 162 mm long).

The launch took place in a box specially designed for the store network under the Havana House franchise.

San Cristóbal de La Habana 20 Aniversario Habanos are made with "fully handmade long fillers" by Cuban cigar experts using selected tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba.
