Diplomáticos is a relatively new brand, dating back to the 1960s. It bears a clear resemblance to Montecristo, with numbers rather than names used to describe its size.

All Havana cigars of the brand are made "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" and are completely handmade with long fillers, wrappers and filler leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. This brand is a medium to full strength Havana.
