Collection: Trinidad

Trinidad is named in honor of the 16th-century founding of the city of Santísima Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the southern coast of Cuba.

Trinidad, as the Havana brand, dates back to 1969 and for many years, like the Cohiba brand, it was only used as gifts for foreign diplomats.

The brand was only sold to smokers in 1998, and at that time, the quantities were very limited.

Initially, the Trinidad only came in one size: Fundadores. In 2003, three more sizes were added: Reyes, Coloniales and Robustos Extra. A new image of the brand was also launched, more modern and consistent with Havana’s exceptional quality.

For many years Trinidad has been produced in the historic Cohiba factory El Laguito, and its unique aroma and aroma, as well as its medium flavor blended with filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, make it a A unique treasure.

Today, "Trinidad" is produced in Pinar del Río, the most important city in the Abajo region.

In 2009, the Trinidad Robustos T-Series was launched, completing the brand's product range.

In 2019, Habanos added three new brands to its regular product portfolio. Of the three books, two are yet to be published. These are the Esmeralda (ring gauge 53 x 145mm long) and the Media Luna (ring gauge 50 x 115mm long), while the Topes (ring gauge 56 x 125mm long) was launched in a limited edition in 2016 and the response has been very good. Now, Topes is bringing the Ring Gauge 56 into the brand’s regular product portfolio for the first time.

All Havana are "Totalmente a mano con Tripa Larga" - completely handmade with long fillings.
