Sancho Panza, like other great Havana brands such as Montecristo and Romeo and Juliet, takes its name from one of the major works of world literature written by Miguel de Cervantes in the 17th century. The most famous work in Spanish literature is "Don Quixote de la Mancha". Sancho Panza named the brand Don Quixote, the faithful squire.
